Spongebob Squarepants and the7 dwarves

So I was looking through all of my old e-mails piling up in my inbox (I have trouble deleting and do so in mass usually, eliminating them back down to one page all in one go from over a 100 emails sometimes), and came across a picture e-mailed from my friend Thomas in Nagoya. The picture was of the water-logged Patrick of Spongebob Squarepants fame. We were discussing whether or not he would actually increase 5X his size (or whatever was advertised, I think it was 5 times). It turns out he had a gash in his belly and may have lost girth due to this during his waterlogging process. Oh well. In case you don't know who Patrick is, here's a good pic (I'll admit, I didn't know).

The other conversation we had that was whether or not you knew all the names of the 7 Dwarves. I realized that although I knew about 4 or 5, I didn't actually know all seven. Do you? Think it over...... Grumpy..... Sleepy..... Happy..... (keep going on your own now)

Happy Birthday Girl

Happy Birthday to my friend Andrea in Chile (it was this past Saturday). Still awaiting on pictures from her of her new neice...

I will also be eventually updating my blog with some pictures and comments of the lifestyle here in Columbus (rather London), Ohio. Work is going well, I'm learning a lot of Japanese and spending basically most of my day either studying it or using it, both during work and outside of work, so doing a reasonable job of keeping up the language.

Next up is to find a school to sign up for weekly lessons or employ one of my associates wives for 1 on 1 lessons.

The Costume Series

So while I was in Japan, I had an attempt to take pictures with as many costumed people as possible. Here was the pig the Fukuoka.

Regionals....

Regionals for frisbee was last weekend. My team, dog, played well, giving up 16 points on the weekend, finishing it off with a near-perfect game against Twisted Metal (15-6). Here's two pictures that went up of me online, getting the first block of the game at 2-2. Other pics are in the general directory posted below.

Tune-up

I was just in Chicago spending time with the grandparents, family, and playing frisbee. My attempts to take pictures were foiled by my camera telling me my battery needed to be recharged even though I just took it out of the recharger; I need a new camera. These were the only pictures I could find online. They are taken after I did not position myself correctly at all and got torched for an easy score. Not good.

Son, be a dentist

I went to the dentist today. My last checkup was in December of 2004, a long long time ago. My time spent there was not more traumatizing then the scenes in a to be guessed classic musical:


Good news is though no cavities. My two baby teeth still need to be taken care of, but otherwise, I was discharged from the dentists with just a sample toothbrush and some floss. :)
